Saludos, my name is Joyce Estrada Bailey, but students affectionately call me Miss Maestra.  Maestra means teacher.  I am a Hondureña born in Jersey from Atlanta.

I am celebrating my 10th anniversary as an educator and the people of Metro Atlanta are the students in my classroom.   I have experience teaching Spanish, ESL, Language Arts, and Global Connections for Gwinnett County Public Schools and the Ron Clark Academy.  This past fall, I opened the doors to MissMaestra's classroom and I teach Metro Atlanta Spanish and English.

Business and organizations can bring Spanish or English classes to the workplace, too!

Come on and take this journey with me!

Enrichment

"MissMaestra is a very great teacher! Her class is interactive, engaging and fun. She uses her experience of traveling to teach some of her lessons. Before taking her class I really had a hard time pronouncing and responding to a person who speaks spanish. Now I can understand sentences and respond. If you're looking for a teacher who can really meet you at your level and uprise you, Miss Maestra is who you want!"

- Rodney T.
